F - 16 B 40 MAIN LANDING GEAR

TENSION STRUT LEFT & RIGHT

Note: We repair landing gear. We use the probe to find all the feature locations. The programming needs to be written in such a manner that each individual feature can be machined separately.

There are two sizes to all the bores the larger size is base metal or first go. We generally machine approximately .010 per pass and can remove up to .120 from the total inner diameter.

The face repairs are generally .010 per pass up to .050 total removal. The material is 300M 270-

280 KSI. The second size is the finish size. The bushing material is aluminum bronze we will machine all the bores, so the programming can be a more standard approach. Separate tooling for both operations will be required

1. Requirements of the proposal.

Offerors shall submit (in duplicate) as part of their proposal brochures, photographs, illustrations, drawings, and narratives which clearly show the design, construction, capacities, and operation of the equipment being offered will meet all of the requirements set forth in this Purchase Specification. Literature displaying more than one model or size machine shall be clearly marked to indicate the model or size being offered .

Proposals shall include a response to each numbered paragraph of this Purchase

Specification indicating compliance or non-compliance with the paragraph's particular requirements. Each paragraph shall be numbered using the Purchase

Specification paragraph numbers. Response to each paragraph shall state ―exceeds requirements‖, ―will comply‖ or ―exception taken‖. Where the proposal exceeds requirements or exceptions are taken, bid submittals shall provide specific information so the impact of the over-compliance or exception can be evaluated.

All narratives shall be in Americanized English and all sizes and capacities of the range being offered shall be stated in the inch system.

2. Offers, which do not include sufficient information to permit a complete compliance review by Air Force personnel, shall be rejected.

File details come from the government source that posted it. Updated .
