Text version

Your RFP asks that the Gantry be electrically isolated. Could you be more specific? Do you need to isolate only the load or do you need to isolate the entire gantry: frame, actuators, servo motors, electronics ? Would we need to establish a completely isolated (floating ground) system?

Answer: The entire gantry frame needs to be isolated from ground.

The precision grade (+/- 1.3 micron) Parker 406XR actuator is only available up to 600mm of travel. You RFP specifies a 1000 mm travel requirement.

Answer: The website: http://www.compumotor.com/products/Ball_Screw_and_Lead_Screw_Tables__5477__30_32_80_567_29.html states that the 404XR-412XR Precision Series has 2000mm travel (2 meters).
