QuestionsAnswers from SOW
1. Refurbished or new system"Replaced"
2. current locations vs new locationsThe system hub will be installed in a new location in 1540 (See section 3.13) and the speakers and stations will for the most be in current locations. However, contractor can install speakers and stations in new areas upon agreement from NIEE.
3. Should it change to 1 PA Zone, instead of 2 in SOWOne PA channel. See section 3.24 a.
4. Relocation of main systemSee section 3.19
5. Limited wall penetration in classified roomsPenetrations need to be approved by security. Should be able to use penatrations currently in place.
6. Questions regarding full removal of cables; no abandon in place, except when necessary?Unless it proves to be too difficult to remove without damaging other equipment, and NIEE approves.
7. Maintenance: on call? 24/7? Service Level Agreement?Shall provide same day or next day working hour weekday maintenance support for the equipment.
8. Locations of raised flooringCan be shown during the RFP walkthrough.
9. Locations of junction boxesDrawings in SOW show current locations of junction and break-out boxes. See pages 26-33
10. Distance from LF and other buildings for cable lengthsTheses are approxomate measurements and the contractor will need to measure the actual distances.1540 to LF-AM: 110ft

1540 to LF-B: 450ft 1540 to 1204: 330ft 1540 to 1203: 385ft 1540 to 1538: 230ft

11. Details regarding the escortContractors must be escorted by government personnel when working in areas that are used for classified testing. See sections 4.4 and 5.4.2.
12. Staging/storage area for installersContractor shall be responsible for storage, staging, and deployment of any equipment and materials…unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by gov and contractor. see section 4.10.1. SPO has agreed staging of equipment can be done in 1540.
13. Responsible for patchworkContractor. See section 3.43
14. Safety requirementsSee section 5.6 and 2.2.1 a. MIL-STD 882E
