A-10 Thunderbolt Life-cycle Program Support (TLPS) RFP – FA8202-08-D-1000 Industry Comments/Questions and Air Force Responses.
12 January 2009
The following industry comments were received in regard to the A-10 TLPS RFP. To ensure fairness in the competition the responses are hereby provided for all potential offerors.
Any additional questions or comments should be sent in writing to the TLPS Contracting Officer, Andrew Hatch at andrew.hatch@hill.af.mil.
1. Industry Comment: Regarding past performance questionnaires: Section L paragraph 5.8 requires that offerors send out the questionnaires for each PPIS. Paragraph 5.5 requires a 3-page list of contracts for possible past performance evaluation. Do we need to provide questionnaires for the contracts on the 3-page list?
Air Force Response: No, Questionnaires only need to be provided for each PPIS
2. Industry Comment: RFP Solicitation No.FA8202-08-R-1000, Form 1447 states the proposal due date is 5 Feb 2009 by 4:00 p.m. Under Section L (page 81 of 91) Table “Solicitation Due Date Information Proposal Submittal Schedule” states Volumes I, II, and IV are due “30 Days Post RFP”, which is 4 Feb 2009.
Please confirm if the proposal due date and Volumes I, II and IV are “31 Days Post RFP”, which is 5 Feb 2009.
Air Force Response: Proposals are due 30 days after the RFP was posted in accordance with section L of the RFP. An RFP amendment is posted correcting the error by changing the RFP due date from 5 Feb 09 to 4 Feb 09.
