STATEMENT OF WORK
1. SCOPE: Establish an IDIQ Contract to purchase and deliver 20’ and 40’ Sea Containers.
Estimated Annual Quantity: 100 each (20’) Maximum
200 each (40’) Maximum
No annual minimum requirement
2. DELIVERY INFORMATION: Specific delivery destination will be specified in each individual task order.
Dugway: Deliver to 388 RANS/Det 1, 1010 Avery Rd, Dugway, UT 84022-1103. South Range, Dugway, UT approximately 94 miles from Salt Lake City, UT (45 miles west then south 49 miles) off I-80 at
Dugway/Rowley Exit 77.

24 hours prior to delivery required.
See attached “Memorandum for DPG Visitors”, detailing visitor driving directions and Range restrictions.

UTTR Oasis Complex (North Range): 388RANS Compound (North Range). I-80 West, Exit 62
(Military Area/Lakeside), 17 miles North Grantsville, UT. Use the phone in the call box to call “Oasis
Security” – who will check vehicle and direct from there. NOTE: If you have made arrangements with
POC’s below 24 hours in advance you will avoid delays.

Deliveries must be made on Monday – Thursday, 0700-1600 ONLY.
NO WEEKENDS (FRIDAY, SATURDAY, OR SUNDAY). NO HOLIDAYS.
3. GENERAL INFORMATION: Sea containers are used on the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) to construct targets and there must be a supply on hand at all times.
4. REQUIREMENTS: The sea containers must meet the following specification:
a. SIZE: Length: 40’
Width: 8’
Height: 8’ 6”
SIZE: Length: 20’
Width: 8’
Height: 8’ 6”
b. CONSTRUCTION:
o Must be constructed of corrugated metal o Reinforced corners o Welded seams o Door- standard double doors on one end, lockable
c. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
(1) The cargo containers shall be stackable.
(2) The cargo containers shall have pad eyes to facilitate lifting with a crane.
(3) The cargo containers shall have initially been manufactured to meet International Shipping
Operation (ISO) standards.
(4) No holes over 6 inches and it must not take away from the strength of the containers.
(5) Dents no larger than 12 inches in diameter and the containers must be stackable.
(6) Minimum rust is acceptable as long as it does not reduce the strength and stackability of the containers.
(7) They must be used containers.
5. REPORTS: The contract number and delivery date must be clearly visible on each invoice.
6. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: A point-of-contact (POC) to sign for deliveries and be responsible to receive invoices will be made available on delivery dates (Monday thru Thursdays, 0700-1600 ONLY).
