1. Is there a previous contract for this equipment?

FA813218P0009 (awarded 01 April 2019)

Administrative Management Group LLC Fredericksburg, VA $103,000.22 – Base Year and 4 Option Years

2. Who is the vendor currently servicing the equipment?

See # 1

3a. What was the cost of the last year's contract?

I cannot provide any unit or annual prices; only the award information (see # 1), which is public information, 3b. Is this the same equipment as last year's contract?

Yes

4. Is the contract available for viewing?

No

5. Is there a service history available?

No

6. Is all the equipment up and running?

There is a security issue regarding the server connection between the scanners and the computer due to a lack of firmware and software upgrades.

7. Will the awardee need to supply a software upgrade to get the equipment up and running again? If so, should we include this in our response pricing?

No

8. Q: Does the bidding small business have to service the equipment directly or is it the intention for the OEM to provide service when requested to the small business set aside bidder?

A: It is the contract recipient’s responsibility to ensure maintenance is performed, not the OEM’s. We are not concerned how the maintenance is accomplished as long as it is IAW the contract and PWS, and the contractor does not treat any other party illegally or unethically.

------- No further questions for this solicitation will be accepted per Marc J. Kreienbrink, Contracting Officer -------

NOTE FROM THE CONTRACTING OFFICER: a previous contract holder for this service arranged for other businesses to conduct maintenance on these machines and then allegedly did not pay them for their work; this is unconscionable and will not be tolerated. I will deal with any misconduct personally, and if I suspect anything remotely close to fraudulent behavior, it will be reported to the local detachment of the AF Office of Special Investigations.
