Questions and Answers per vendor interest:
Question: (CLIN 0001 & Options) CMXG what product is this? The 10 lb slabs or bagged pellets?
Answer: CMXG’s order is for 10 lb slabs.
Question: (CLIN 0002 & Options) PMXG, currently they take the 10 lb piece, are the moving over to bagged pellets, 100%? Answer: No, PMXG will be ordering 10 lb slabs.
Question: Bulk pellets are much cheaper than bagged pellets, should we provide a price for bulk pellets if they are transitioning to pellets?
Answer: There will be NO need for bulk pellets. The requirement is very small for the pellets.
Question: Please confirm if the 2"x10"x10" cut block is wrapped in kraft (paper) or a poly
(plastic) material.
Answer: 2”x10”x10” 10 lb slabs to be wrapped in poly (plastic)
Question: Based on the container size indicated (4’x4’x4’) the approximate capacity is 2,000 pounds for cut block and 1,500 pounds for pellet per container. Due to this quantity a forklift will need to be available at each dock for unloading. Please confirm this will be available for the bulk container deliveries.
Answer: Container size is approximate, and quantities within delivery containers will be specified in each delivery order. A forklift will be available and provided at time of delivery to remove shipment from truck.
Question: Section 1.5.3 of the SOW indicates there are 2 bulk containers delivered to Building 3001.
The Delivery Locations document states that PMXG receives delivery of Slab and Pellet for Building 3001. Based on CLIN 0002 total usage of 508,011 pounds and the Quantity Estimates document that states usage minus Pellets is approximately 422,712 pounds, there appears to only be 820 pounds of bagged pellet delivered each Monday and Thursday. Please confirm that the 2 bulk container deliveries to Building 3001 every Monday and Thursday are 2x10x10 cut block wrapped and the bagged pellets are additional usage for that location or if not, what the actual cut block and bagged pellet usage is for Building 3001.
Answer: The Statement of Work (SOW) has been replaced by "Additonal Delivery Information". Quantities have been corrected so CLINs match Quantity Estimates.
Question: If Building 3001 does in fact receive 2 bulk containers of 2"x10"x10" cut block (wrapped) and additional bagged dry ice pellets, please confirm that the bagged pellets are to be a bulk delivery in either 1 large or 2 smaller containers at the dock, or will individual lab/room deliveries be required for the bagged dry ice pellets. If individual deliveries, please indicate how many.
Answer: Delivery of Pellets will be included in the containers that are delivered to PMXG.
There will be one 10 lb bag of pellets delivered with each PMXG delivery twice weekly. The Pellets will be included within one of the bulk containers sent to PMXG.
