STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
Technical Vacuum Pump
OC-ALC/OBCA
10 March 2017
Scope:
The Contractor shall provide two (2) Sullair 60 Hz Rotary screw Vacuum System Model:
VS25 100 Brand Name or Equivalent and provide onsite training on Technical Vacuum pumps supported at Building 1055 for the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC).
The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all services, parts and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components provided under this contract conform to the manufactur-er’s equipment specifications.
Item Description:
76 CMXG/MDEA is requesting the purchase of Sullair 60 HZ Rotary Screw Vacuum System Model: VS25 100 Brand Name or Equivalent: qty two (2) Rotary Screw Vacuum Systems with the following specifications:
• 1650 acfm minimum per unit (cannot be split into multiple systems)
• Rated at least 100 HP
• 460 Voltage
• Dual Control
• Enclosure to cover unit
• NEMA 4
• Power Failure Auto Restart
• Factory filled Lubricant – at least 8,000 hour fluid
• Inlet Filter
• Units will need to fit together in 18 ft x 13 ft area
The purchase of the vacuum pump will be so that the vacuum pump itself is of rotary screw design, a complete packaged system with no additional components to purchase for startup/installation, and in-cludes major damage prevention in the form of high temperature shutdown & low oil pressure shut-down.
Required Services:
Purchase of vacuum pumps shall include the following training for 76 CMXG/MXDEA personnel at Building 1055:
At time of delivery:
• Inspection of equipment installation with Tinker AFB mechanical installer prior to actual start
• up/commissioning to be scheduled in advance as notified by Tinker AFB.
• Removal of any and all shipment brackets and insulation
• Verify proper mechanical connections
• Verify proper electrical connections
After Tinker AFB installs:
• Verify proper fluid levels
• Verify proper air and oil filter installation
• Verify Start/Stop and restart operation
• Verify proper gauge and instrumentation operation
• Verify operational temperatures within tolerance
• Familiarize end user personnel from each shift with general machine features and opera-tion including o Proper startup/shutdown sequence o Machine inspection o Instrumentation o General preventative maintenance requirements o General trouble shooting maintenance
Emergency Procedures:
The Contractor personnel shall follow the direction of the Government personnel with regard to emergency procedures, such as fire, tornado, active shooter, bomb threats, or other emer-gency. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide guidance and to establish proce-dures for its employees to respond to an emergency. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to account for their employees following an emergency evacuation. The Contractor personnel shall participate with the Government personnel in all fire and tornado drills at no additional cost to the Government.
Health & Safety on Government Installations:
While performing work under this contract the Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations regarding occupational safety and health. During the exe-cution of the contract, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer (CO) and Govern-ment Contract Administrator (CA) within one (1) business day of any damage to Govern-ment property in which the dollar value exceeds $500,000.00 and within two (2) work days, for any damage to Government property less than $500,000.00.
Mishap notifications shall contain, as a minimum, the following information:
• Contract, Contract Number, Name and Title of Person(s) Reporting
• Date, Time and exact location of accident/incident
• Brief Narrative of accident/incident (Events leading to accident/incident)
• Cause of accident/incident, if known
• Estimated cost of accident/incident (material and labor to repair/replace)
• Nomenclature of equipment and personnel involved in accident/incident
• Corrective actions (taken or proposed)
• Other pertinent information
If requested by the designated CO, the Contractor shall immediately secure the mishap sce-ne/damaged property and impound pertinent maintenance and training records, until released by the Procuring Safety Office. Contractors will not dispose of contract data related to a mishap until notified to do so by the CO.
