The identification shall be permanently affixed to the item by decal, stamp, stencil, or similar means. If size prohibits marking the item, the information above will be marked on the item packing.

1.4.1. The Contractor will establish, document, and maintain a parts control program for the work associated with this PWS and may use MIL-HDBK-512A as guidance.

1.5. Configuration Control

1.5.1. Replacement parts shall be IAW applicable Technical Order or current OEM technical data.

1.5.2. The Contractor shall establish the Program Parts Selection List (PPSL) for the item from the applicable documents in the following order of precedence:

a. Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) TO

b. OEM parts list

c. Current configuration of the end item or system.

1.5.3. Approval from the PCO is required for the Contractor to use any parts not contained in the PPSL.

1.6.

Testing.

1.6.1. Contractor shall test IAW Technical Orders / current OEM Specifications to insure correct operation.

1.7.2. The Contractor, with oversight by Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), shall investigate all Deficiency Reports (DRs) submitted against reported defective electron tube repaired. Any DR shall be processed IAW T.O. 00-35D-54.

1.8.

Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Requirements.

1.8.1. The R&M which is inherent with design of the equipment shall in no way be adversely affected by the repair accomplished per direction contained in this PWS.

1.8.2. The Contractor shall ensure that all items repaired, rebuilt, or modified are tested against the temperature, vibration, and shock environments in which the item is expected exist during storage, transportation, and operation.
