Appendix D

ESTIMATED WORKLOAD DATA

1. This is an estimated workload for the contract period. The estimated data is provided as a guide to the contractor in estimating manpower, workload, and for scheduling requirements.

2. The following workload data represents the Government’s best estimate of the volume of work shown for each category listed. This exhibit is not intended to cover all of the workload items, but list the major categories of work.

The Contractor personnel shall team with 559 SMXS/MXDED personnel to carry out the data acquisition portion of the test plan provided by the Test Director. The contractor shall provide a senior engineer and two electronic technicians as technical support for each test.

The following is an estimate of contractor support to be expended for each Aircraft test at Palmdale during the test period.

Test 1 Senior Engineer

10 days including 2 days for travel.

The contractor shall provide miscellaneous materials and supplies and shipping of parts and equipment for test periods with total expenditures not to exceed $5,000.00. Shipping of the During this period of performance, the Contactor shall refurbish PHSTS and/or GFP equipment (included in Appendix B) for testing periods to and from Palmdale, CA shall be necessary to accommodate maintenance, calibration, training and upgrades. The Contractor shall provide for shipment of the PHSTS as directed by the COR. The Contractor shall also provide manpower and travel, when necessary, to accommodate calibration of test equipment at location of PHSTS upon annual calibration due date.

The COR will notify the contractor if the test plan is expanded requiring more support hours or if there is a requirement for test planning meetings. The Contractor shall respond to the COR with a proposed cost for the increased need for technical support on a Time and Material basis and a contract modification will be issued for the additional support needed.

Preventative Maintenance Activities and Intervals for the PHSTS ECU’s

Note: Variation in workload: (A) If at the end of six month period, the total work, considering complexity, difficulty, and cost of the various outputs in Appendix B varies above or below five (5) percent from the total estimated contract workload, negotiations for an equitable price adjustment may be initiated by the Contractor or the Government. Any increase or decrease in price shall be based on the net increases or decreases of this workload during the specified period. (B) The Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer in writing of all expected work variations as described in this clause which may result in a request by the Contractor for an equitable price increase and shall provide the estimated amount of such prices increase. Such notice shall be provided at the earliest practicable time, but in no event later than prior to performance of such work variances. The Government shall have no obligation under this provision unless a modification has been negotiated to cover such work variance and an estimated amount of funds obligated to cover such work variances.
