The period of performance (PoP) will begin on the day of contract award for a five year basic period and one, five year option for a total of 10 years if the option is exercised.

The authority at FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, will be utilized.

There is one approved sources for this effort; Textron Aviation Defense. Due to the complexity and criticality of this item, only the pre-approved source meets the USAF requirements. This source has demonstrated the ability to successfully provide the engineering services and has access to the required data. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

(p) If solicitations synopsized through the GPE will not be made available through the GPE, provide information on how to obtain the solicitation.
