STATEMENT OF WORK

Cleaning and Delivery of Towels and Coveralls

1. SCOPE

1.1 The contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, equipment, transportation, and parts necessary to provide rental pickup, cleaning, and weekly delivery of 18” x 18” shop lint free towels, quantity 6600 and supply 700 coveralls to locations listed in this Statement of Work at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

1.2 The contractor shall provide cleaning service only of government owned white coveralls and all of the rented coveralls.

1.3 The contractor shall provide the Government with a designated point of contract and make arrangements to enable its service representative to receive such notification or provide an answering service for other continuous coverage to permit the Government to make such contract.

2. HOURS OF OPERATION:

2.1. Delivery of shop towels and coveralls should be accomplished once a week between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays. Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the Quality Assurance Personnel prior to contract start date.

3. RESPONSE TIME:

3.1. Within 5 days after contract award, the contractor shall contact the contractor monitor to Set-up delivery and pickup times.

4. CONTRACTOR/GOVERNMENT FURNISHED ITEMS:

4.1 Contractor will furnish 6600 lint free red towels and 700 dark blue or black, solid in color cotton or cotton blend coveralls similar to Dickies long sleeve coveralls during the warmer weather months, Mar thru Oct and 700 dark blue or black, solid in color insulated coveralls similar to Dickies or Carhartt quilted lined (insulated) coveralls during the colder weather months, Nov thru Feb.

4.2 Government will provide 25 white cotton coveralls for cleaning.

5. TASKS:

5.1 Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, parts, transportation and any Incidental’s to provide services as specified in paragraph 1.

5.2 Contractor shall provide delivery of clean and pickup of soiled shop towels and coveralls in the amounts and at the locations listed below. The same amount of clean towels and coveralls delivered must be equal the amount of soiled towels and coveralls at the time of pickup. A sign-out sheet will be provided for the driver to sign out the amounts of soiled towels received to help maintain inventory validity. Shop towels will be used in cleaning of petroleum products, grease, oils, solvents, etc. and coveralls could also be soiled with petroleum products, grease, oils, solvents, etc.

5.3 Contractor shall provide delivery of clean and pickup of soiled Government owned white coveralls in the amounts to be determined at time of pickup and at the locations listed below. The coveralls delivered must equal the amount of soiled Government coveralls picked up from the previous week. A sign-out sheet will be provided for the driver to sign out the amounts of soiled coveralls received to help maintain inventory validity.

5.3.1 White coveralls will need to be cleaned using a petroleum free (no oil based product) process due to hazards associated with coveralls being used for liquid/gaseous oxygen servicing. Additionally, these coveralls will need to be cleaned separately from any petroleum soiled/contaminated materials.

5.4 Coveralls - Coveralls to include the insulated coveralls will be provided by the Company in the sizes listed below.

6. CONTROLLED/RESTRICTED BADGES:

6.1 Contractor will need an ANACI or favorable background check for access into the controlled/restricted area.

6.2 An AF Form 2586 must be completed, signed by the 552 ACW wing or vice wing commander, and submitted to the 552 ACW/SF email box for processing. AFMC AFSC/PZIOB and/or 552 MXG/CCR will be able to assist with processing the proper paperwork.
