2015 AFMS Senior Leadership Workshop
Questions & Answers
15 October 2015 Q1: Is the group open to sharing guest rooms with a sister hotel?
A1: The group is not open to distributing guest rooms with a sister hotel. Unscheduled business meetings typically occur which requires quick access by all attendees.
Coordinating between more than one (1) hotel would prove detrimental due to time and traffic concerns.
Q2: Can we use the general session space for some of the breakouts?
A2: Yes. While this is not an ideal situation, we would support this option if the general session room can be prepared in a timely manner that meets the time scheduled for the breakout sessions for that day.
Q3: Is it ok if the hotel does not have 11 breakout rooms? If, not what would you consider instead of a breakout room?
A3: To ensure privacy and clear and open communications, we require the 11 breakout rooms.
Q4: Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the government in the past?
If available, please provide the incumbent contract number.
A4: The previous contract, FA8052-15-P- 0001, was awarded to NCC PS Enterprises, LLC.
Q5: If you are unable to provide a contract number, is it safe to assume this is a new requirement for the government?
A5: Please see question 4 and its respective answer.
Q6: With regard to the subject solicitation, Would the office AFICA consider any alternate dates. We represent several qualified venues that have the following alternate dates available:
October 31- November 4 or November 28- December 2.
A6: In accordance with the solicitation and its attachments, the dates are fixed and non-negotiable.
Q7: Will you be posting a standard form 1449? A7: While a combined synopsis/solicitation has been posted in-lieu of an SF 1449 IAW FAR 12.6, the award itself will be an SF 1449.
