About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the Air Force Technical Applications Center's (AFTAC) requirement for Geophysical Instrumentation Testbeds (GIT) development and operationalization. The project involves establishing 8 total testbeds - 4 seismic testbeds at Operating Location Boulder, WY (OL-BW) and 4 testbeds (2 digitizer and 2 infrasound) at AFTAC's Patrick Space Force Base location in Florida. Key contract deliverables include developing pass/fail requirement documents for digitizer, infrasound, and seismic tests, completing operational reports for both AFTAC and OL-BW testbeds, and providing comprehensive training for personnel at each location.

The contract will have a base period of 12 months with two additional 12-month option years. The contractor will be responsible for purchasing necessary materials, completing operational documentation, and training personnel to independently operate and maintain the geophysical testbeds. Reporting requirements include monthly financial and technical status reports, quarterly Technical Interchange Meetings, an Integrated Master Schedule, and specific deliverables like pass/fail requirement documents and operational reports. The effort aims to enable AFTAC and OL-BW to evaluate and characterize geophysical equipment of interest after contract completion.
