Questions Submitted by Vendors

1. Check Discs – will these check discs be data only, printing only or both data and printed check discs?

Both data and printing. We need to hear the audio and see the artwork.

2. They want stapled CD booklet of at least 28 pages, is that also a printing service they want quoted?

Yes.

3. What sizes do they want quoted for the sleeves/wallets? (Addressed in statement of work, as reiterated below.)

1.2.5.3 WALLETS AND SLEEVES: 5" Mini Jacket, 5" Mini Jacket with spine, 4-panel 1-Disc CD Wallet, 4-panel 2-Disc CD Wallet, 4-panel CD Wallet with pocket, 6-panel CD Wallet, CD Mailer, 8-panel C Case, 8-panel Single Pocket 4/4 wallet

4. 8 panel C Case, can they please show us a sample of the C Case?

See page 1 of attached PDF file titled “8 Panel C Case, 12 Panel Digi-Sleeve Example”.

5. Can we see a sample of the 12 panel Digi Sleeve as well?

See page 2 of attached PDF file titled “8 Panel C Case, 12 Panel Digi-Sleeve Example”.

6. Our printers’ standard for printing materials is at .014 pt cardstock paper. According to the government bid minimum is .015 the next stock we can go is .016 however this price will be based on individual runs and customized quote. .014 cardstock is based on combo runs, so our prices can be more competitive. Can the client accept .014 cardstock papers?

No.

7. Digi-pak, industry standard is 4/0, however we can print a 4/1 & 4/4 print which would only color in the inside spine area, does the client want us to quote 4/1, 4/4 or stick to industry standard?

Vendors need to quote 4/1 and 4/4.

8. Pricing for each item is vastly different depending on the quantity ordered (1000 might cost X, but the unit cost for 5000 might be a third of that, etc.) Kindly let us what unit volumes to use for these dozens of items.

Purchase orders will be submitted for this requirement on an ‘as-needed’ basis. Hence, there is no estimated quantity. Some orders may be approximately 1000 items while others are on the order of 15,000 items. Vendors should provide a break-down of cost as a function of quantity ordered. For example, a price could be given for the range of 0-1000 items, 1000-2000 items, 2000-3000 items, and so on. A wide range of quantities should be given in order to accommodate all potential orders.
