SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
The purpose of this admendment is to make the following changes to the SOW and CLINS:
A. Change CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002 extended description from [Nonpersonal Services: The contractor shall provide personnel and transportation necessary to perform two styles of professional hair cuts, "High and Tight" and "Clean Shave" for the USAF Honor Guard members only.] to [Nonpersonal Services: The contractor shall provide personnel and transportation necessary to perform hair styles to include, but not limited to “High and Tight”, “Clean Shave”, etc. for the USAF Honor Guard patrons only.]
B. SOW, para 1.2 is hereby change from:
1.2 MALE HAIR STYLES. The contractor shall perform barber services in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 36-2903. Hair cuts will have a tapered appearance on both sides and back, both with and without headgear. A tapered appearance is one that when viewed from any angle outlines the individual’s hair so that it conforms to the shape of the head, curving inward to the natural termination point. Hair will not be worn in an extreme or fad style or in such a way that exceeds length or bulk standards or violates safety requirements. Protune below the front band of properly worn headgear. Hair will not exceed 1 ¼ inches in bulk, regardless of length and exceed ¼ inch at the natural termination point.

1.2 HONOR GUARD HAIR STYLES. The contractor shall perform barber services in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 36-2903/USAF HG SUP 1. Male Sideburns and “square back” trims are prohibited. The length of hair is precribed as follows: The hair will be neatly trimmed and cut close (skin) around the back and sides of the head at all times; graduating to 1/2 –inch where the hair lays under the hatband. Hair above the hatbanc will not exceed 3-inches in length or 1-inch in bulk. Female hairstyle (bulk of hair) must not exceed three inches or prevent wearing of the ceremonial hat. Hair length will comply with AFI 36-2903/USAF HG SUP 1. “Bangs” will not touch the brows.
C. SOW, para 1.3 is hereby change from:
1.3 BARBER. The contractor shall perform two styles of USAF Honor Guard haircuts “High and Tight” and “Clean Shave”. Straight razor shall be used with warm lather. At the end of each hair cut an alcohol base shall be applied where hair was shaved. The contractor shall clean down their workstation after each patron. Handlebar mustaches, goatees, and beards are not authorized.
