Solicitation FA7012-08-R-0022 Questions and Answers
1. Was there an incumbent for this contract? If so, what was the award?
No.
2. Must each barber be a DC licensed?
No, must have barber's licensed; any state
3. Given the nature of the tasks in the Statement of Work and the caliber of the clients does this contract require the use of a licensed Master Barber or will stand licensed barbers suffice?
Stand licensed will suffice; a minimum of 2 years of experience.
4. As I understand, the contract requires that at least two trained and qualified barbers be provided to perform barber services for approximately 200 Honor Guard personnel. Regarding the availability of the barbers, will barbers need to be available on call for a 24 duration?
Yes, for emergency cases only; example (president passes, deployment-rare)
5. Will we, the service provider be responsible for supplying all materials and products? Further, will there be specific designated materials and products required for use on Honor Guard members?
The Honor Guard will supply all materials and products.
Clarification
In refernce to Clause 52.222-42 Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires; the rate of $20.52 is for government informational use and is not to be used unless this is your quoting rate.
