About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment for a United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) solicitation for a Ti Sapphire Laser Pump, with the solicitation number FA700025Q0059. The document, dated 22 May 2025 and amended on 23 May 2025, contains two specific technical clarifications: first, confirmation that the laser will be used with an M2Laser Ti:S laser, and second, detailed specifications for laser linewidth and power stability measurements. The measurement time for linewidth and power stability is specified as 50 milliseconds, with power stability to be measured over a one-hour period following a 10-20 minute warmup. The document is part of a combined synopsis/solicitation process for a firm fixed-price contract for a commercial laser pump product.
