Questions and Answers

1. Q: Below image shows the rib collar with white tip, please advise the rib specification if available.

A: ‘Attachment 01 - PD 1808-181113-Polo CIU’ has been updated to add the specification for collar striping on page 9.

2. Q: We would greatly appreciate any insights you can provide regarding the potential challenges or considerations we may face as a manufacturer operating outside the United States.

A: Read DFARS 252.225 7000 and complete ‘Attachment 05 - Buy American Cert 252 225- 7000 Nov 14’.

3. Q: I assume the rib fabric content is 100% polyester, correct? Is rib finish width 2 ¼” or 2 ½”?

A: The rib fabric content is 100% polyester and rib finish width is total: 3 1/4” with 3” showing outside of the seam.

4. Q: Can you please provide the total Dollar value of last year's contract?

A: There was not a contract for polo shirts last year.

5. Q: Is this solicitation still set aside for only WOSBs?

A: Yes.

6. Q: Logo -Is this the Air Force Logo that will go on the shirts?

A: No, read ‘Attachment 01 - PD 1808-181113-Polo CIU’ for information about the logo.

7. Q: You mentioned packing each item in an Individual Polybag. Can we pack 6 or 12 pieces in a master polybag?

A: No, Each shirt shall be individually folded and bagged.

8. Q: Do you allow any unassorted packing, we observed 5-10% of sizes at the end might not need an individual box so in that case can we pack a few sizes in one box?

A: Yes

9. Q: Kindly advise if you need all goods at one time or if they will be delivered in 2-3 lots. Can we have the delivery date?

A: The delivery date is 60 days after receipt of order (ARO) and we want the entire order delivered at the same time.

10. Q: Can you please advise us on the colors of the product you will be taking?

A: Read ‘Attachment 01 - PD 1808-181113-Polo CIU’ for information about the colors.

11. Q: Our company wants to confirm if the requested products can be manufactured outside of the US, such as Vietnam.

12. Q: Are they required to be made in the U.S.?
