Cadet Off Base Lodging FAQs
QuestionAnswer
What is an estimated length of stay per cadet or class? We estimate each cadet to stay up to 150 nights. However, since the need to utilize off base lodging for cadets is based on the current public health situation, we cannot give firm lengths of stay.
Is there a day to COVID clean between class rotations? one class check outs Friday and new class checks in Sunday. We do not anticipate cadets rotating in and out of any lodging facilities. Once there, unless personal situations dictate otherwise, a cadet will remain in their off base lodging accomodation

Is there a tentative class schedule with number of Cadets per class? This will help the hotels see a trend and help them price their proposals. Our numbers are not based on classes...we anticipate need approximately 220 rooms for 440 cadets. During the week (M-F), cadets will most likely be required to travel to USAFA in the AM and will return in the evening. The weekends will be a mix of personal and military training time.

Do the hotels need to work through a travel or leads agency? No they do not, the hotels can work directly with the Air Force on this solicitation.
