1.Does the application itself have to be FedRAMP compliant or if hosting center being FedRAMP compliant is sufficient –

VENDOR NEEDS TO BE ACTIVELY WORKING ON FEDRAMP COMPLIANT STATUS FOR BOTH

2.What is your current system –

SIRSI SYMPHONY

3. In 3.2c can you please provide vendors from whom you buy books and are EDI compliant –

PROQUEST COUTTS, BAKER & TAYLOR AT THE CURRENT TIME

4. In 3.8.3 what do you mean by "... multiple repositories, hundreds or even thousands ...", can you please provide the list –

NO LISTING, THIS LIST CHANGES CONSTANTLY AS IT IS COMPRISED OF ALL OUR DATABASE VENDORS, SUBSCRIPTIONS AND OTHER SERVICES (SUCH AS OCLC)

5. In 4.6, how files are named and will you provide the files, as they are unlikely to be in the database –

FILES NAMES ARE BASED ON TYPE OF CONTENT WITHIN THE FILE I.E. JPG = IMAGE,

AND ALL EXTRACTS FROM SIRSI ARE .tar FILES

6. Will you provide a dump of the database or will data be provided in MARC and csv format –

THE MIGRATION DATA SHOULD BE PROVIDED BY CURRENT VENDOR TO

NEW VENDOR

7. Would you like McDermott Library (Cadet Library) and Community Center Base Library in one database or in separate database, if in one database should cataloging be centralized or site based –

ONE DATABASE, CATALOGING WILL BE DONE AT EACH SITE

8. What is the deadline for submitting questions on the RFP, sorry if missed it in the RFP –

FOUND IN BLOCK 6 OF THE STANDARD FORM 1449

9. Can companies outside of the USA apply for this?

EVIDENCE THAT THE DATA IS STORED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE USA MUST BE PROVIDED;

FURTHERMORE ON-SITE TRAINING WILL BE REQUIRED (ALL TRAVEL COSTS MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE

WITH THE JOINT TRAVEL REGULATION AND INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL EVALUATED PRICE).

10. Can proposals be submitted via email?

YES

11. Who should I contact regarding security level questions?

THE OFFEROR SHALL E-MAIL QUESTIONS CONCERNING SENSITIVE TECHNOLOGY TO THE DEPARTMENT

OF STATE AT CISADA106@STATE.GOV.; FOR FEDRAMP SPECIFIC QUESTIONS EMAIL

12. With regards to the technical worksheet, how should we answer questions we partially/alternatively comply with?

IF THE DATABASE MEETS OVER 50% OF THE REQUIREMENT, A “YES” AND AN EXPLANATION IN THE

COMMENT SECTION ARE APPROPRIATE.

13. Could we please have a copy of the Specification and the Technical Worksheet in Word format so that we can include our answers directly into the documents?

A WORD VERSION OF THE TECHNICAL WORKSHEET IS ATTACHED TO THIS AMENDMENT.
