RFQ Questions and Answers (Page 2 of 2):

1. Q: In addition to the information that PPIRS provides, would the government be willing to accept up to three (3) past performance writeups on specific contracts that are relevant in size and scope, but that may be not captured by PPIRS?

A: The Government reserves the right to request additional references, but references are not required with the solicitation response. Evaluation will follow 52.212-2, para 4.b using PPIRS-SR. If references are provided, they may be reviewed in lieu of requesting additional references.

2. Q: Our understanding is that each pair of socks need to be individually wrapped with their size and description (e.g. Small Lightweight Dress Socks, Black) within the kit. Does the solicitation also require that each “type” of sock be packaged together (e.g. all 8 pairs of Small Lightweight Dress Socks, Black packaged together within in the kit)? Please advise.

A: No, socks do not need to be grouped by type within the kits.

3. Q: Would the government be willing to accept samples of the proposed socks to help demonstrate technical abilities as discussed in the offeror’s proposal?

A: Samples will be accepted, but are not required. Quotes will be technically evaluated based on descriptions given in the quote.
