Dobbins Water Testing
1. Is there an existing contract for this work?
Government Response: Yes. FA6703-10-P-0017
2. How do we know/cost how many samples will require heterotrophic plate sampling/analysis, since this determination only will be made after a low chlorine level is detected?
Government Response: On average, heterotrophic plate sampling/analysis may occur once or twice per month.
3. Have any previous samples from these sites had chlorine levels below 0.2 ppm?
Government Response: Yes, last year 20 out of 68 samples collected had chlorine levels less than 0.2 ppm.
4. How do we know/cost how many samples will require re-testing, since this determination only will be made after a positive bacteriological level is detected?
Government Response: In the last five (5) years, Dobbins ARB had one sample that required re-testing.
5. Have any previous samples from these sites been positive for total coliform or E.coli?
Government Response: In the last five (5) years, Dobbins ARB had one sample that was positive for total coliform.
