1st Question: Can you provide any and all additional information about the project site visitation like questions from contractors and answers by the department?
Answer: As we went through the meeting before heading over to the sites, some of the minutes that were discussed are as followed.
The services are for Clearing & Grubbing only The award contract is based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable It will 100% small Business Set-aside NAICS Code for this requirement is 561730 The contract will be Firm Fixed Price Registered in SAM is required Period of Performance (POP) will be for 90 days (from the initial start of the contract date) All proposals are to be emailed ONLY Proposal are due on the 6th of Sep, by 2:30 pm eastern time 2nd Question: List of attendees.
Answer: Attached is the list of attendees
3rd Question: If there are any photographs that you can share showing the density of trees and vegetations at these locations?
Answer: No photos available due to base flight line restrictions and base commander directive.
4th Question: Are we required to cut on the Army side of the fence around OU-18 old site.
Answer: No, you will only be responsible for the Air Force side of clearing and grubbing.
5th Question: Is any grinding/chipping permitted on site and if some of this grinding piles can be left at designated locations at the base?
Answer: Detailed grinding/chipping plan may be submitted (upon award of contract), however, it will require the approval of the government.
6th Question: Are these work site locations fully accessible with trucking and heavy equipment?
Answer: For most of the sites (YES), however, we have two sites that are only accessible by watercraft.
