Salient Characteristics Specification
1. Project Title: Communications Contingency Package
2. Project Location: 934th Communications Squadron
760 Military Highway, Bldg. 761
Minneapolis, MN 55450
3. General Scope:
A. This kit contains worldwide communication equipment that provides both unclassified and classified data over multiple transmission paths to include built in cellular, or Ethernet connection to public internet.
B. This is a base initiative that would provide real world Continuity of Operations (COOP) locally in the event of an emergency or natural disaster capabilities. These kits would have a wing-wide mission impact regarding accessibility of network communications connectivity.
C. Enable the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) concept of mobile operations by providing classified and unclassified data connectivity and Voice over Secure IP in remote locations.
