About this file

This pre-solicitation notice provides details for an upcoming construction project to add a restroom and outside air inspection bay to Building 5305 at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The project includes constructing a two-room building addition with matching exterior finishes to house plumbing fixtures in one room and mechanical equipment in the other. Additional work involves replacing existing lighting with new LED fixtures and installing direct digital controls. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued as a firm fixed-price contract with an estimated 365-day period of performance excluding winter months. The acquisition will be set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 236210 with a size standard of $45 million. The Department of the Air Force Reserve Command will issue the invitation for bid in late January 2023 through the System for Award Management website. The estimated value of the construction project is between $500,000 and $1 million.
