About this file
This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the US Air Force for market research purposes regarding the acquisition of a domestic water tank replacement system. The system must be a modular, floor-mounted solution suitable for indoor installation and compliant with CE certification standards. Each tank must include external PVC coating, internal Bluetech enamel and thermosetting resin lining for corrosion resistance, an anode for galvanic current protection, and a two-pass AISI 304 stainless steel shell and tube heat exchanger. The installation scope includes reconnecting all hydraulic lines with galvanized steel piping and brass fittings, installing closed-cell pipe insulation, replacing three expansion vessels per tank (two 200-liter and one 100-liter painted steel vessels), performing load handling with a crane truck and qualified operator, and conducting leak testing and commissioning. Detailed specifications for piping materials, fittings, valves, and insulation are provided for each tank installation.
Responses must be limited to ten pages excluding marketing literature and technical data sheets. Required submission elements include a capability statement addressing technical requirements, past performance descriptions with relevant contract details, responses to specific questions regarding requirement restrictions and suggestions for improvement, organization contact information with SAM registration confirmation, commercial pricing information if available, customary practices including warranties and contract types, and company structure with UIE number and CAGE code. Responses are due no later than June 5, 2026 at 04:00 PM Central European Time and should be submitted via email to 2d Lt Michael Guillermo or Melissa Maurhart.
