Question 1: Are the 98-inch televisions required to be TAA compliant? Typically TAA Government versions have all wireless capability disabled.

Answer 1: Yes.

Question 2: Can you provide the model number of the Optoma Projector please?

Answer 2: There will be no projectors at the end of the project. They will be removed.

Question 3: Should new chairs be included for the conference table. If so please indicate a style and color.

Answer 3: No new chairs. Just refurbishing the old ones as described in the salient characteristics.

Question 4: Should the offer include new podiums? If not, please provide a make model, or picture of the existing podiums.

Answer 4: There should not necessarily be new podiums, but rather the podium (new or existing) should have a control system. If the contractor can install a control system in the current podium, then that will meet the requirement.

Question 5: Is the room situated on an access floor system?

Answer 5: No, it is conduit run.

Question 6: Please validate that the existing building's electrical is (Italy/Europe) 230 volts with Italy-style electrical outlets.

Answer 6: Yes – 230 volts.

Question 7: Are there sufficient electrical outlets for the new 98 inch televisions, podiums, and equipment credenza or rack. Do outlets need to be installed or moved?

Answer 7: Outlets may need to be installed, but Mission Partner is not anticipating outlets to be moved.

Question 8: Is there an existing equipment room, that should be used to house the equipment rack?

Answer 8: Yes, currently the back closet located within the conference room is used to house the equipment.

Question 9: Is it acceptable to use a furniture-grade equipment credenza for the equipment that will be installed in the conference room?

Asking Contractor for clarification.

Question 10: Is the existing ceiling standard 60cm X 60cm acoustic drop ceiling tiles?

Answer 10: Roughly yes. The current tiles are closer to 64x64 cm, but they subset on top of each other.

Question 11: Are the existing lighting fixtures located in the ceiling, and do they need to be replaced?

Answer 11: They are located in the ceiling; no fixture replacements. The light bulbs need to be replaced and uniform and the lighting should run all on one circuit.

Questions pertaining to CLIN 0002:

1. V-shape table: can you please send the size of the room in order to be sure the table plus the chairs will fit properly? Any color indication or material requirement? Is it possible to have a picture of the existing table in order to repeat style and features? Does the table need also cable glands, or recessed electrical sockets?

Answer 1: The room is 28 ft wide by 39 ft in length. We can provide pictures of the conference room and table if need be. The existing table has cable glands, recessed electrical sockets, USB and HDMI ports. The new one will need the same. We would like the color of the table and chairs to stay the same.

2. Podiums: desired feature or color?

Answer 2: It would be ideal for the podiums to be the same color as the table. The feature we are looking for is to be able to control presentations and view the main screen on the podiums. Briefers tend to have their back turned to the main screen and we would like to rectify that.

3. Repair current chairs: how many chairs to be repaired? Is there any picture of the existing chairs showing the type of damage and material?

Answer 3: We can provide pictures if need be. The number of chairs is 13.

And the equipment needed to project to it and play sound. We need the ability to communicate over Microsoft teams and hold zoom meetings. There are more specifics but better to come in and conduct a site survey first.

1. Questions pertaining to CLIN 0004:

Wall paint: size of the room? Type of repainting required? is it required a coat of white on an already white wall or does the existing wall need to be restored, plastered (or smoothed and filled) and then repainted? An indication of color and type of paint?

(breathable, enamel, resin...)

Answer 1: Room size is roughly is 28ft wide by 39 ft in length. This is just an estimate. As of right now the room has wallpaper so the old wallpaper would have to be stripped and new wallpaper installed. Either white of neutral gray would be best.

Answer 2: The number of chairs is 13. Executive chairs. We can provide pictures if need

be. Only the wood arm rest and legs would need to be sanded and refinished.

3. Ceiling: we need to know the size and type of renovation required, type of tiles to be replaced, type of LED panels and LED strips, available wirings and switches.

Answer 3: We would need new microphones and speakers installed in the ceiling as well as new LED panel light system. As of right now we don’t know the specifics. This might require a site visit.

4. New carpet: what kind of carpet? Specs? Size? does it need to be fireproof? Color?

Answer 4: Tile carpet. Square and 60 by 60 cm. Flame resistant and the color as the current carpet we have now. Blue/Gray
