SUBJECT: Amendment 02 Answers to RFI Submitted 14 Mar 17

1. The below are the questions submitted and the answers as given by the customer.

“It order to better evaluate the requirements, would it be possible to obtain the overall number of in-house maintenance team and at least minimum information of the competences assigned to the contractors? Will the Facility Manager also have authority on the assigned Contractors or will only be at the service of the Facility Manager? Also, is there in place any type software used for the tracking of the maintenance services? Thank you much in advance for any information you’ll be able to provide

Answers:

1. Overall number of in-house maintenance team:

# 2 Contract manager managers

# 1 Clerk

# 2 Engineers

# 4 Technicians

2. The competences assigned to the contractor’s: numbers of contractor and their competency might vary based on the nature of the projects.

3. Will the Facility Manager also have authority on the assigned Contractors or will only be at the service of the Facility Manager?

Answer: Project Manager will work for the Facility Manager (FM) who often serves as project/service Contract Office Representative (COR). Contractor (Project Manager) will not have authority over contractors but report to the FM for final decision.

4. Is there in place any type software used for the tracking of the maintenance services?

Answer: Maintenance activities is tracked thru DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard

Support)system. Contractor will not be managing subject program.”
