PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)

FOR

VMware Horizon (with View): Install Configure, Manage [v6.0] course and

Windows PowerShell Scripting and Toolmaking course at

31CS Aviano AB

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide training for two separate classes providing VMware Horizon (with View): Install Configure, Manage [v6.0] course and Windows PowerShell Scripting and Toolmaking course to 14 personnel per class. The VMware Horizon (with View): Install Configure, Manage [v6.0] course will be performed per industry and Command Job Qualification Standards (CJQS) and Windows PowerShell Scripting and Toolmaking training per industry and Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP) standards. This training will be executed at Aviano AB, Italy in a training environment provided and coordinated by the 31st Communications Squadron. Contractor shall speak English as a primary language or with high level of proficiency.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Performance period for this contract will be scheduled and executed no later than 30 September 2016, and shall run continuously until completion of training. Class size will not exceed 16 members per scheduled session. The 5-day instructor-led VMware Horizon (with View): Install Configure, Manage [v6.0] course and 5-day instructor- led Windows PowerShell Scripting and Toolmaking course will be conducted in consecutive weeks to be completed before the period of performance above.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR VMWARE TRAINING:

1.1 COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1.1.1 Provide comprehensive training on the information contained in each of the vSphere 6 documentation as well as CJQS 201.

1.1.2 Provide students with relevant troubleshooting and maintenance processes for day-to-day operations.

1.1.3 Review VMware "Best Practices" and provide analysis on why it is considered best.

1.1.3.1 Provide an opportunity to complete hands-on lab to perform tasks and ensure competency.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR POWERSHELL TRAINING

1.1 COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1.1.1 Provide comprehensive training on the information contained in each of the vSphere 5 documentation as well as CJQS 201.

2.1.1 Provide students with relevant PowerShell scripting knowledge to simplify and automate day to day tasks.

3.1.1 Review PowerShell "Best Practices" and provide analysis on why it is considered best.

4.1.1 Provide an opportunity to complete hands-on lab to write and perform scripts

2.1 PRINCIPLE TOPICS COVERED:

2.1.1 Getting Started with Windows PowerShell

2.1.1.1 Overview and Background

2.1.1.2 Finding and Running Commands

2.1.1.3 Configure the console application

2.1.1.4 Configure the ISE Application

2.1.1.5 Finding and Running Basic commands

2.1.2 Working with the Pipeline

***If a commercial internet service provider is required, Contractor will provide requirement no later than one month prior to contractor arrival.***

HOURS OF OPERATION: Contractor personnel shall be readily available each class day starting at 0800 not to exceed 1800 each scheduled class day. Instructor shall provide after class tutoring to ensure all students achieve comprehension of course materials.

STANDARDS OF CONDUCT: Contractor personnel must adhere to standards of conduct as established by the Installation Commander.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall adhere to current installation security policies.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor shall possess knowledge on maintaining a virtual environment and the industry certification to instruct course material. Contractor shall speak English as a primary language or with a high level of proficiency.

SERVICES SUMMARY:

Performance Objective PWS Para Performance Threshold Course Material Instruction 1.1 Instruction will include all course material required to complete all training.

Curriculum Comprehension 2.1 Instructor will evaluate course material comprehension and provide additional instruction as required.

TRAINING CLASSROOM: The training classroom will be equipped with government computers and a projector. The computers are HP Pro Book 6460B (13ct) and HP Pro Book 640G1 (1ct) loaded with Windows 7, 64-bit operating system. The contractor will provide any other necessary hardware/software necessary to conduct training IAW this Performance Work Statement.
