FACILITY SYSTEMS
FUNCTIONAL TEST
CHECKLIST
PURPOSE:
This checklist provides actions to be taken when conducting functional operation checks of the following life and emergency systems: Fire alarms, sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, gas detection, exit & emergency lighting, exit passage, exit doors, air handler units, fire rated doors, wall penetrations, extinguishers, hood & duct extraction systems, and emergency signage. Of course not all systems may be installed in each facility. Operationally check all that apply to the facility.
Do not conduct the operational check without the presence of the installing contractor, project manager, and 31 CES/CEOEM Fire Alarm Maintenance Contract QA
A copy of this checklist must be provided to the appropriate project manager once we are notified of a “Fire protection System Test”. The project manager should forward a copy to the appropriate contractor. This will provide all parties with an idea of what we expect to be performing.
Ensure the project manager will receive the final fire alarm testing documentation
IAW all applicable Italian Fire Standards and Laws outlined below. This is required for all facilities that are subject to C.P.I. (Italian Fire Prevention Certification Program)
