1.2. O&A Work Procedures.
1.2.1.. The contractor shall submit to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) an O&A request form describing the O&A work being proposed. The form, with all applicable fields completed, shall be submitted no later than five (5) business days after reporting to the work location. Should the five (5) business days be insufficient due to delays caused by establishing repair costs, the contractor shall provide written documentation (for example, a letter/email from the parts manufacturer) to the COR explaining any delays.
1.2.2. The COR will send the work request package to the CO for review/approval.
1.2.3. The contractor and CO will negotiate a firm-fixed-price settlement for the work. The contractor shall not begin work until receipt of a signed/approved work request form or approval memo from the CO. The contractor shall commence work and complete work by the mutually agreed upon dates stipulated in the form/memo.
