Statement of Work

CCTV Installation in Chapel

52 FW/HC

PSC 9 BOX 25

APO, AE 09123

BLDG. 136, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany

August 17 2026

OVERVIEW

1.1 The hallways and classrooms within the designated childcare area must remain visible and continuously monitored to ensure the safety and well‑being of children in volunteer care. Due to the current layout, volunteers have limited visibility of hallway activity while fully engaged with children inside the classrooms. This creates challenges in identifying who is approaching, passing by, or standing outside the rooms.

1.2 While sound machines help reduce distractions, they do not provide the visual awareness required to ensure that only authorized individuals are near the childcare spaces. Because volunteers cannot leave the classroom to check the hallway, a reliable method of observing hallway activity is essential to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well‑supervised environment.

1.3 Installing CCTV coverage in the hallways outside the classrooms will support continuous visibility, enhance situational awareness for volunteers, and reinforce the safety and comfort of children and families.

2.1 First and Second floor of BLDG 136, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
