About this file
This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) summary addressing technical specifications and requirements for custom workbench configurations.
The workbench must feature an ESD (electrostatic discharge) top surface. The drawer cabinets and superstructure do not require ESD paint and can utilize regular design specifications. The cabinets shall not include legs; instead, they must sit flush on the ground or include fork pockets at the base for mobility and rearrangement purposes. Each cabinet must measure 564mm in width, utilizing standardized LISTA drawer dimensions, with a critical center spacing of 1342mm between the two cabinets to allow technician maneuverability and equipment placement. Above-workbench accessories are limited to shelving and a modular rail system spanning the entire pegboard backing width, enabling bins to hang from the rail system for customizable storage solutions based on individual needs. Installation and assembly services are required, including complete workbench assembly and programming support for RFID badge locks and access control systems. The provided renderings and technical drawings illustrate the front and side configurations with precise dimensional specifications, including overall width of 2530mm, height of 1800mm, and depth measurements accommodating the specified cabinet spacing and equipment accessibility requirements.

Text version
As per our understanding the workbench top must be ESD. Is the complete configuration with ESD paint for drawer cabinets left and right along with the superstructure part of the requirement or can those elements be regular design?
- Please see photos below.
Do you require legs for their workbench or cabinets?
- For the workbench cabinets, I don’t believe we would like any legs for them. The only thing that I could imagine would be acceptable is either sitting flush on the ground, or potentially a fork pocket at the base of each cabinet for easier rearranging.
What is the required width of the cabinets?
- The width of the cabinets I would refer to the “Side Render.png” attached in this email that has the width at 564mm. The biggest thing is that LISTA drawers only come is standardized widths, so this is a standard size for the cabinets to be, but the space between the two cabinets is what we’re more concerned with which is 1342mm in the “Side Render.png” to allow for the technician to be able to maneuver and place any necessary equipment.
Do you require above/below workbench accessories?
- The only above accessories that we are requesting is shelving and a rail system that will accommodate that will go across the entire top of the pegboard (or equivalent) backing depicted in both renders. The rail system allows for bins to be hung from the back, creating a modular solution depending on the different needs of the individual. Attached is a picture to demonstrate that “bin-rail example.jpg” , and in the renders it would be the orange bar on the left and right side of the black pegboard.
Is installation/assembly required?
- Yes installation/assembly is required for these workbenches, as well as assistance with programing the RFID badges/locks
