FA560625Q2038 – Education & Training Office Technology Support
QUESTIONS ANSWERS
Confirmation of the scope of support for the 60 computers (e.g., Tier 1–2 support coverage, on-site versus remote support expectations)
The computers are on-site so the work must be completed on site.
Expected hours of operation and response times, particularly during promotion testing or training periods
Each week will involve approximately 16 hours of operation, or 4 sessions. The number of sessions will increase to 8 during peak testing cycles.
Any base access, security, or compliance requirements vendors should account for
Whoever is awarded the contract must have a background check for base access. If a company is awarded the contract, the company must pay for any required background check.
Whether a specific format or structure is preferred for quote submissions and pricing
Invoicing and payment will be submitted via Wide Area Workflow, a US government portal.

The preferred format for submitting pricing -could you please advise whether quotes may be submitted electronically (via email or system upload), and if there is a preferred format (Excel or PDF) In Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Price Schedule & PWS Paragraph 3, the PWS states that each unit of work is a 4 hour block of time with a total of 1040 hours per year. However, the price schedule in the Combined Synopsis has 220 units per year, which equals 880 annual hours. Please clarify the number of hours each unit equals, the total annual hours, and the quantity of units per year.
The PWS specifies that “the Education Service Officer and Contractor may mutually agree to specific work tasks and mutually agree on the number of work units each week”. Four-hour time blocks were chosen to permit scheduling flexibility. Please price for no more than 1040 hours throughout the year.

Measure of Merit, “the Offeror provided in sufficient detail, a summary of past projects or contracts, three (3) verifiable references that including scope, scale, and outcomes, that align with the requirements of the solicitation.” Is the offeror required to provide personal references from candidates, or past performance from the company?
The offeror is not required to provide personal references, but information on past performance will help determine who is awarded the contract.
