About this file
This document contains Questions and Answers related to Solicitation FA560624Q0073 for a Custom ISU (Internal Slingable Unit). The key details are:
The solicitation is seeking a customized internal airlift/helicopter slingable container unit (ISU) capable of housing tools and equipment necessary to maintain and store explosives in any environment. This is a re-solicitation due to no technically acceptable quotes received previously under Solicitation FA560624Q0046.
The questions address details such as the base container part number, requirement for ATTLA certification for internal air transport, operating temperature requirements, and the responsibilities of the contractor versus the end user. Responses indicate that alternative ISUs will be considered, a certifiable container is acceptable if dimensions are met, the operating temperature range is -65F to 160F, and the contractor is responsible for the ISU and customization while the end user will provide and install other equipment.
