FA560620Q2080‐ Fiber Splicing Trailer
Questions and Answers
1. Can the trailer framework made of steel with hot galvanized coating will be acceptable?
The trailer should be made of aluminum to reduce weight and increase fuel economy. However that is an acceptable corrosive resistant option for the frame.
2. What will the trailer maximum carrying capacity be?
Max weight should be based on the axel capacity, which should not exceed 3,500 lbs
3. How much will the trailer weight itself?
That’s based on manufacture specs. However, we have a small team max 3 people working, so we don’t need anything over the 3,500 lbs the trailer can safely support.
