About this file
This document is a Memorandum for Record containing vendor questions and answers regarding the 48th Operational Group F-35 Locker Room Refurbishment project at RAF Lakenheath, dated 15 September 2026.
The project requires procurement and installation of 130 new lockers to replace 80 existing lockers. Lockers must be manufactured from MDF with laminate wood finish, matching existing installations. Specifications include: overall height of 101 inches, top portion depth of 23 inches, bottom drawer/seat portion depth of 34.5 inches, minimum width of 22 inches with 1-inch building material (approximately 25 inches end-to-end). A padded helmet compartment must measure minimum 14 inches wide by 23 inches deep by 18 inches high, with 1-inch padding throughout and an additional 3-inch pad on the bottom. Horizontal bars must be silver-colored brushed nickel with no gauge requirement specified. No locking mechanism is required. Lockers may be delivered pre-assembled and joined/secured at the installation location. The contractor must remove and dispose of the 80 existing lockers, which are currently secured to each other and caulked at perimeters where wood meets flooring and walls. Floor repairs are limited to damage caused during installation or areas where new lockers do not cover existing flooring layout; no pre-existing floor repairs are required. Past performance information is not required for submission. There is no specified delivery timeline; vendors should provide quotes with the fastest possible completion schedule. A floor plan showing locker room dimensions and installation layout will be provided as an attachment to the solicitation.

No lock is required. For the horizontal bar there is no gauge requirement, would like it to be silver in color, brushed nickel
