About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing inquiries regarding a freestanding range procurement for 100 CES (Civil Engineer Squadron), likely at RAF Feltwell in Norfolk, UK.
The solicitation seeks full freestanding residential range units (oven and cooktop combined), manufactured to US-size specifications. Acceptable ranges may be manufactured in China or sourced from either UK or USA distributors, provided all specified requirements and certification requirements are met. The ranges will be hardwired into UK power systems and do not require plugs. Shipping must be included in the quoted price and arranged door-to-door directly to RAF Feltwell, Norfolk, UK, IP26 4AY. The contractor bears all shipping costs and logistics responsibility. Delivery occurs directly to the facility rather than to a Military Warehouse in Pennsylvania. The dimensions specified are standard for US residential ranges, not commercial units. Post-award, the contracting officer will provide the point of contact and phone number for delivery coordination.
