Pavement Sealer RAF Mildenhall Q&A
1. Is operational training required – face to face or virtual (Youtube video)?
An overview and training of how the machine operates will be required when delivered and a function test should be performed and demonstrated to shop personnel to ensure machine operates as designs. Other than that YouTube links would be helpful and instruction manual should be provided as well.
2. Will the product warranty will be held by the base direct to the US manufacturer?
Either should work, direct from CE to manufacture or the warranty should be through the agency it was purchased through so they could coordinate repairs from manufacture on our behalf as transitions of personnel occur frequently in the military.
3. Please can you expand on the requirement for fall arrest bars? (Our proposed machine can be feed with material from floor height) Or does this mean a counter balance for the wand?
Being able to feed the bricks from the ground would suffice.
4. Is there a requirement for a pumped heated hose or a gravity flow machine?
Pumped heated hose, gravity flow machine would not meet the requirement.
5. Is there a requirement for a blow out wand and compressor?
There is no requirement for a blow out wand or compressor as this would be done prior and with different equipment.
