About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding Solicitation Number FA558724Q0020 for Air-Portable Cargo Handling Docks. The solicitation seeks six portable highline tables that can dismantle and fit on a single military pallet weighing approximately 6,600 pounds for use by the 727th Air Mobility Squadron at RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom. The tables do not require installation and will be delivered palleted and ready for transport. They include detachable handrails and foot pads, can be assembled without special tools, and the stops resemble those commonly seen on cargo dock pallets. Bidders should provide quotes using their own templates and disregard instructions for a quote sheet attachment.

• Do you have an AutoCad drawing of these tables? No, sorry.
• Do you have photos of these tables? See first image on Page 2. If you’d like, you can google portable highlines and pictures will come up.
• What does “facility for extended guiderails/handrails” mean? They can add the required handrails when they are assembled, but do not have fixed handrails. This would make them easier to palleze and move.
• Do you require special tools to assemble these? No special tools should be required just wrenches to ghten the bolt. The principle would be that any Airman could assemble them in a conngency environment.
• Six table weighing 6600lbs fit on a single military pallet, meaning a 463L pallet? The US military pallets (Cookie Sheet) tends to be bigger that a commercial 463L pallet. Ideally, we would like them to fit on one pallet but if two is required we could make it work. Just easier to try and keep it all together on one and the Load planners said they could make it fit on one.
• How many foot pads are required? Four foots pads for each highline secon (table) total 24.
• It is stated that “Six tables dismantle to fit on a single 463L pallet at 5500lbs. Above it states 6600lbs. Which is correct? Should be 6600lbs.
• What do the stops look like? They are not described or menoned in the Scope of Work but are listed on page 3 of the Solicitaon. I’ve atached a picture of the type of pallet stops we see used on highline docks. Any style would be acceptable.
• On page one of the Solicitaon, under “Atachment 0002-Quote Sheet”, where is the quote sheet as I do not have one? Please use your own company template to provide your quote and disregard the instrucons to submit the quote sheet.
• Under 1.2 of the Scope of Work, there is no install correct? No, these are portable so would not require installment. We would store them pallezed ready to ship to the locaon as required.
• Under 1.2 of the Scope of Work, I do have to unload these at the facility however, correct? They would only have to be delivered to B599 at RAF Mildenhall. We can then palleze them as required.
They do not need to be uploaded to an aircra.
