1) Q: The RFQ requests a price to clean different sizes of kitchen extraction systems (small, medium & large) but I cannot see that it states what size/length of ductwork is involved in these different size options? Are you able to clarify this please?

A: Please see the below table.

Sizes (m2) Small Medium Large Extra (Extra large or scaffolding needed)

Length x Width s<2.99 3<=m<9.99 10<=l<19.99 20<=XL or Extra requirement

* Sizes are based on the "length & weight" of hoods. Ducts measurement is not a criteria for determining sizes.

2) Q: The RFQ requests costs for scaffolding in various different locations to enable us to access the ductwork/fan units but there is no info in relation to size or type of scaffolding required. Do you have any photos of where scaffolding would be required please?

A: The below asset are the ones requires scaffolding. Photos with dimensions will be provided.

3) Q: I cannot see anywhere in the RFQ a cost request for the supply and installation of ductwork access panels hence can you confirm that all ductwork has the required amount of panels in place to allow full & safe access for cleaning please? It should be noted that the dismantling of kitchen extraction ductwork for cleaning should not be classed as an option as per the latest industry guidelines in

TR19.

6) Q: A quick question regarding the Scaffold that’s required at RAF Fairford. Do you want this incorporated into costs? I see on the pricing that there’s no mention.

Also, is RAF Molesworth under RAF Alconbury as before?

A: Yes, we want scaffold costs incorporated into costs. All additional effort to reach out to the ventilation system should be provided by contractor by incorporated into costs to eliminate any additional coordination with third parties and additional costs.
