1. Description

All manuals and warranty information shall be turned to Project POC when work has been complete. The contractor shall provide training on operation of the unit to the Project POC at time of completion of job.

1.1 The use of force training simulator system shall be capable of creating a minimum of

250 use of force scenarios with a minimum of 1250 branching options and a minimum of 5 range targets and interactive shooting courses. Additionally, the system shall provide integrated video authoring that allows the instructor to create, edit, score, load and run customer videos filmed locally in familiar locations. This system shall provide high definition (1920 x 1080 native resolution or better) shoot don’t shoot real life scenarios for responding Security Forces members. Scenarios shall include urban military operations, close quarter combat, high risk/low risk police response, vehicle pursuits, domestic violence response, unauthorized restricted area entry, protestor activity, 3-d marksmanship firing range shooting, failure drills, transition drills, moving target, and night vision goggle training. Additionally, the minimum required 250 scenarios are not to include on-board aircraft scenarios, plain clothed officer situations, and no K-9 response scenarios. Finally, decision making scenarios regarding less-than-lethal weapons, specifically the Taser, is required.

1.2 The system configuration shall have single projection screen capability. The display screen shall be able to interact with tetherless training weapons to detect lethal, non-lethal, near miss and missed shots. There shall be a 360 degree sound system capable of varying from a minimum decibel reading of 0dB and maximum of 105dB. Finally, there shall be a sufficient 1920 x 1080p high definition projector to meet above requirement.

The system shall be capable of supporting up to five (5) users simultaneously. The system shall also be portable and lightweight with the capability to be stored in a weather-proof case the size of a large range bag.

1.3 Software shall have editing capabilities so instructors can create custom scenarios and provide post scenario feedback and shot analytics. The system must include 3D marksmanship software that supports display of courses, processing and storage of course data, real-time instructor monitoring of course/weapon feedback data, display of course results, replay of shots, and the ability to store trainee results in the student database with the capability of supporting up to 5 users simultaneously and the capability for 1-5 lanes to be used for individualized and customized exercises. Additionally, the software must be able to support multiple weapons assigned to each trainee, allowing advanced training such as malfunction and transition drills in a controlled environment.

1.4 System shall provide dedicated tetherless training weapons for the M-4 rifle and the

M18 handgun. M9 Pistols will be acceptable if the capability for the M18 is unavailable. There shall also be interactive Tasers compatible with the system, flashlights are also preferred but not required.
