Attachment 1-Salient Characteristics Document
1. The conveyor belt system needs to be a total length of ~112' including a telescopic boom that extends ~40' and two 90 degree angles once inside the facility.
2. The outside boom should be a total overall length of ~60' when fully extended (~20' when retracted). The system should be ~33" in width. The outside boom should begin at a height of
~6'6" and decline to ~3' over the course of 20'. The end of the boom should be able to raise to an even height of ~6'6" and have emergency controls and lights at the end.
3. The inside boom should be a total of ~24' long when extended (20' when retracted). The front of the boom should be ~6'6" and decline to ~3'6". There should be some kind of safety mechanism to keep the system from starting when the door is closed.
4. The inside flats should be ~64' in total length. This belt should be ~33" wide and 3'6" tall throughout.
5. The flats would then run into a 90 degree angle bend to a straight belt measuring ~10' to another 90 degree bend to bring the system around the corner.
6. Another flat section of 22' would connect to the bend and complete the system.
7. The system should have emergency stoppers and forward and reverse controls installed on each section and on each side of the belt. The belt should move about 20m/min as a consistent speed.
8. The conveyor belt system must be 240 volt compatible as that is the provided power source for the building.
