Performance Work Statement 82nd ERQS S.A.F.E Boat Truck

07 March 2019

1. Vehicle, at a minimum, must be within 5 years of manufacture date. Must have diesel engine, automatic transmission, tow capacity of 21000lbs, must be dual rear wheel vehicle, must seat at least 6 people, all terrain tires, tire-spare all terrain, wheel lock and frame mounted carrier, tie-down hooks – pickup box, tow hooks, light tool box in bed with roadside assistance tools

2. Maintenance The contractor shall perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at no cost to the Government. Maintenance will be performed once every three months. Contractor will be given two weeks notification of scheduled maintenance. Scheduled maintenance will be completed no later than 48 hours after pickup. Vehicle will be picked up from building 443 and returned to building 443. The contractor shall provide all parts, labor, and expertise necessary to complete all required maintenance tasks. The cost of parts and labor for maintenance on damages resulting from an accident or abuse due to operator negligence, must be submitted through the Contracting Officer for consideration of payment prior to any maintenance being performed.

3. Recovery. Contractor must have base access to Camp Lemonnier and Chabelley Air Field to recover disabled vehicles upon proper notification. All vehicles must be recovered within 24 hours of notification. If the vehicle becomes disabled off-base, the contractor will recover the disabled vehicle from the specified location. The vehicles will not travel outside the Djibouti City and Chabelley Village area. This service shall be available 24 hours a day. If the recovery service is not available 24 hours a day, alternatives must be negotiated and agreed to by the Contracting Officer. The vehicle shall be returned upon completion of maintenance to the 82 ERQS, building 443.
