Page Section Paragraph Question Answer

PWS 1.1.4.1. Does the Government make the daily truck schedules?

Warehouse foreman (s) take initiatives and make truck schedules for the next day. Contractor’s manager or his-her alternate should participate also.

PWS 1.1.4.7.1. If the elevator is out of commission, up to how many story should the contractor carry the furnishings using the outside stair?

It would be 5th floor, but up to 9th floor for necessary items such as a dining table, dining chairs and mattress and box springs. It depends on multiple elements (building, stair lighting, quantities of furniture and weight).

The rest of the furnishings will be delivered on next available day.

PWS 1.2.1., 1.2.2. Could you specify the pick-up or delivery point of furnishings at DORMs? Entrance or hallway?

Government will try to put all furniture on the one spot but, it depends on the quantities of furnishings. It will be entrance area or one side or both side of each floor of the building.
