About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) attachment for a Wi-Fi infrastructure solicitation (RFQ FA524025Q3002) for the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron (36 CES) at Building 18001. The Q&A provides detailed technical insights about the proposed Wi-Fi network, including key details such as an expected user count of 15-20 users, confirmation of LAN/Ethernet terminations, and a drop ceiling design in two conference rooms. The responses indicate this is a new contract, with the government being non-committal on many technical specifics and directing vendors to propose TAA and NDAA compliant equipment. Critical technical requirements include: no support for IoT devices, no anticipated hardware refresh during the contract period, no acceptance of fixed wireless as an interim solution, and an existing cable tray infrastructure that branches into J-Hooks. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 517112, with responses due on 22 May 2025 at 4:00 PM Chamorro Standard Time, issued by the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces.
