About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, seeking industry input on deployable, solar-powered portable office units for expeditionary use in austere environments. The government requires compact, climate-controlled units that are typhoon-resistant, transportable by air/land/sea, operable off-grid, deployable by 1-2 personnel, and capable of fitting on a 463L pallet or smaller, with minimal setup time.
Vendors are requested to submit PDF or Word responses up to 10 pages by June 9, 2025, to tate.elie.1@us.af.mil, including company details, business size/classification, capability statements, technical specifications, product brochures, photos, delivery lead times, maintenance procedures, and estimated pricing. The RFI targets small businesses, with preferences for 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB classifications. This is a market research initiative under NAICS code 332311, emphasizing the government's intent to gather information for future acquisition planning without committing to a formal procurement.
