II. Requests For Information:

1. What sort of insulation do you want the containers to have? After review, insulation isn’t required.

2. Is this a new or one time use container? New

3. Do you have any examples of the hydraulic crimper model you have in mind? A P32 Crimper

4. Do you have a layout of the floorplan inside the container? Flexible layout and at vendors discretion: One side wall would be storage bins, back wall would be hose reels, and other side wall would be work bench and crimper. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout.

(See question 17, 23, and 29)

5. Does this box need to be Climate Controlled (does it need to have an AC Unit)? No (See question 25)

6. Does this box need to have finished interior walls (framing, insulation, and finished walls)?

No

7. What quantity of fitting will be stored in each bin (specifies 50 different types, how many of each type)? Approximately 15-20.

8. For the hose reel storage do you require winding reels to wind bulk hydraulic hose around, or simply some sort of storage/ shelving system to store the loose bulk hydraulic hose?

Simple storage for storing. (See question 17, bullet 4)

9. Does the 14’ workbench have to be a single workbench top, or would multiple workbenches installed side-by-side with a top surface area greater than or equal to 14’ suffice? A single workbench is preferred, but multiple would work. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout. (See questions 18 and 20)

10. Does the “cut off saw” need to be rated for cutting hydraulic hose, or can we provide a basic “chop saw”? This requirement is for a Portable Hydraulic Fabrication Container, 230 volt 1-phase cut off saw must be rated for cutting hydraulic hose.

11. How will the main power to the box be supplied? Not part of the requirement; local electricians will run power to the facility.

12. What are the power ratings for the main power feed being supplied to the box? 230V Phase 1.

13. Will the box require a disconnect, specific junction hook-up, or transformer for the exterior electrical main power hook up? A specific junction hookup, 230V Phase 1, on the exterior of the container.

14. What is the required/requested rating for the internal electrical panel? Power required to support included equipment only. (See question 22)

15. Do you recommend any specific floor type for the interior of the box (aluminum diamond tread, epoxy coating, etc.)? Standard container flooring would be fine, prefer slip proof material if possible. (See question 27)

16. Small storage bins capable of holding at least 50 different hydraulic fittings.

- How many bins? 50-70

- What size bins? Flexible layout, dimensions, and at vendors discretion: No specifics, must hold 15-20 of a hydraulic fitting. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout.

- What weight capacity? 10 lbs

17. At least 12 hose reels storage areas for hydraulic hoses.

- What are the dimensions of the storage areas? Flexible layout, dimensions, and at vendors discretion. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout.

- Where are the areas located, i.e. wall, floor etc.? Back wall. Flexible layout and at vendors discretion: One side wall would be storage bins, back wall would be hose reels, and other side wall would be work bench and crimper. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout.

- Who is supplying the hose reels? Not part of the requirement; will be procured locally.

- What is required on the container wall to support the hanging of the hose reels? Simple storage for storing. (See question 8)

18. Work bench at least 14 feet long and 5 feet tall. A single workbench is preferred, but multiple would work. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout. (See questions 9 and 20).

19. Please provide more details. i.e., bench depth, qty of drawers or shelves (if needed), weight capacity, etc. Any other details? Please see answers from questions 7, 9, 16, 18, and 20.

20. One Work Bench. The work bench will have a mounted 6-inch bench vise as well as a 230 volt 1-phase Cut off saw. A single workbench is preferred, but multiple would work.

Please provide preliminary conceptual layout. (See questions 9 and 18).

21. Is this the same work bench as mentioned above, or a separate work bench? Please provide more details. Same workbench as previously mentioned. (See questions 9, 18, and 20)

22. Will the container require any internal electrical components, i.e. lighting, outlets, etc. If so, please provide the following: N/A; power required to support included equipment only.

(See question 14)

a. Incoming power input. i.e. disconnect switch, pin and sleeve, MIL connector, hardwire, etc. N/A

b. Available power on site: Volts, Phase, Amps. N/A

c. Number of lights and outlets N/A

23. Is there a preliminary conceptual layout available? Flexible layout and at vendors discretion: One side wall would be storage bins, back wall would be hose reels, and other side wall would be work bench and crimper. Please provide preliminary conceptual layout.

(See questions 4, 17, and 29)

24. The container will be 20'L x 8'W x 9.6'H correct? Correct

25. Will the container have an AC/heat unit or mini split unit? No (See question 5)

26. Will the container have any windows or man's door? No

27. Additionally, I would like to know if there's any preference for the interior buildout, for instance will the inside need flooring or the standard container flooring works just fine?

Standard container flooring would be fine, prefer slip proof material if possible. (See question 15)

28. For the Crimper and the compressor is there a brand the customer is looking for? Looking for P32 Model or comparable.

29. Are you able to provide any drawings or sketches related to this container requirement?

30. We had a question about the Hydralic Crimper, we were able to find 2 crimpers that meet the requirements mentioned but they are both made in China:

A. SAMWAY P32D Crimping Machine B. JYC-P32 Hose Crimping Machine

These 2 machines meet all the requirements including the crimping force, set of dies, engine drive, tension, maximum opening and maximum crimping diameter. We wanted to get an understanding is these options can be considered valid even if they are imported from China.

If they are not valid options to be entertained, do you have any alternatives that can be explored or specific models you have in mind? Please provide comparable alternative.

31. Do you know the hose manufacturer and series of fittings that will be used? Various Gates hoses and fitting procured locally.
