About this file
The document is a Requirement Description with Salient Characteristics for Water Stations, outlining detailed specifications for a water refill system. The requirements include ADA compliance, a recessed dispenser to prevent cross-contamination, water chilling capability between 40-42 degrees Fahrenheit, and an internal drainage system. The water station must meet specific certifications including NSF/ANSI standards and ISO9001, be energy efficient, and incorporate a multi-filter/purification system that removes up to 99% of tap water impurities.
Additional key specifications include a secondary trigger for water dispensing, a non-removable and non-relocatable design, compatibility with building attachment, and a standalone system requiring only a water line, drain line, and 110-volt receptacle. The system must also feature a foot pedal option for hands-free use, fit into compact areas taking up no more than three square feet of floor space, and allow vendor base access. These requirements are part of a Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces solicitation (Solicitation Number: FA524025Q0024) for a water refill station for the 36th Security Forces Squadron.
